LabF Associate Program

LabF is now offering webmasters and site owners all over the world an opportunity to have their share of LabF success. LabF Associate Program is our answer to the challenges of todays' internet and online business. We have carefully designed a program, which will be of equal benefit both to our prospective partners and ourselves. We offer the site owners an opportunity to earn extra revenue with their web site and, at the same time, we will gain the additional visibility and exposure that we are seeking.

Like many other successful Associate Programs, LabF Associate Program is based on sales commission. LabF Associate will earn a generous 15 % of each sale made through his associate links. Labtam Finland is LabF now!

Since 1989 our company name has been Labtam Finland Ltd. We started the business as local software developer and solution provider and our main market was clearly in Finland and other Scandinavian countries.

Already during the first years of our operation, we noticed that there was growing interest in the products we produced, not only in Scandinavia but also in other European countries and in USA. Now 12 years later less than 1% of our sales comes from Finland. We have today more than 10000 corporate customers in more than 80 countries.

Company name no longer describes the nature of our business and we have decided to rename the company to LabF. The change is quite natural especially as most of our clients remember us based on our web presence: LabF.com. No worries - only the name has changed. The famous Labtam quality will be LabF quality from now on. We welcome all our customers and new visitors at LabF.com

WinaXe was previously known as X-WinPro

As many of you may have noticed, the exellent X-server X-WinPro was renamed as WinaXe in October 2000, and is sold by this name only here at LabF.com.

During the years (starting 1993) we have received numerous messages that carried the product name written with all the possible combinations that one can get from words X-Window System and Professional. Just to list some of them, X-WinPro was called: XWindowsPro, Pro Xwin, Xwin Pro, Win X, WinProx, ProWinX, ProXWin, XServerPro, XTermPro etc.

We have come to conclusion that the name was too hard to memorize and that we need to get a new name to avoid any unnecessary confusion. As we started to think about the new name we definitely wanted it to continue to carry at least the elements "X" and "Win". Win stands for Windows and also associates the name to winning. "X" comes from X-Window System and is naturally the key element of our application. We also wanted to have some element from real world completely away from computing. We ended up to adopt word "axe" as it already contains the letter "X", but further more as axe is a simple but powerful tool that people have used from the beginning of the mankind making better future for themselves.
